KLM BUSINESSCLASS

art direction

The business class of KLM got a completely new look. The old materials were stripped out of the planes.. but it would be a waste not to re-use them. Students at Design Academy Eindhoven designed inventive products that can be used on-board. Made out of the carpet, curtains and seat coverings of the former business class, they pay homage to the old planes.

To give special attention to this cool project, the products were displayed at De Bijenkorf Amsterdam. Hovering in a life sized mobile, they fly through the shop window.
